Now that the Ford Bronco is out in the world, all we want to know is who did it better? Finally, we have a real comparison between the similarly-equipped Bronco Wildtrak and Wrangler Rubicon. The only big difference for this comparison is the Wrangler Rubicon is a 4xe model, however the off-road capabilities are equally matched.
Throttle House made a great video putting both vehicles through several tests to measure and compare their capabilities off-road. These tests included steep climbs on loose dirt, articulation, and water fording, plus a few others. In all honesty, both the Bronco and Wrangler killed it on the trail, and didn’t have any hang ups.
By the end of the run, Throttle House felt the Bronco inched out ahead of the Wrangler. They commented that both had the same level of off-road muscle, but the Ford seems to do it with less sweat.
